As writers and artists we're often drawn to the unusual, the quirky... the odd. Whether it be an interesting gesture or the beautiful and unexpected pairing of words that once seemed ordinary, but become transformed by their position in a sentence, we crave to see the world in a new light.
Here are a few peculiar photographs that I found to disturb and delight you...
Now you make up the rest...
You notice there are no photos of dogs in these selections. Now THERE'S an animal too dignified to allow himself to be captured in these shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteHe he! Usually it's the cats that consider themselves dignified. Not today, kitties!
DeleteThat last picture with the cats on leashes made me think of the Herding Cats video that circulated the web a while back. So funny!
ReplyDeleteI never saw it, but I'm going to have to go look it up right NOW!
DeleteGreat pics, thanks for sharing! I 'm here because of the A To Z. ......and besides, I read MOV...!
ReplyDeleteAnd I forgot to add that I blog at www.incomingbytes.com ! ":)
ReplyDeleteI liked your photos. Nice ones. Keep sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love that Psychoville sign! I think I could do something with that. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Yes, we are a little odd, but that's what makes our writings compelling and disturbing at the same time :)
ReplyDeleteYep! It's that thin line between interesting and disturbing that I love to see pushed.
DeleteI'm intrigued by the babies in gas masks. Was that a drill?
ReplyDeleteI know! I'd love to know the story behind that one...
DeleteWhoa, those are some pretty creepy pictures. I think I fall under the category of being odd. And I like it!
ReplyDeleteThe cat in clothes is truly disturbing. And I love cats.
ReplyDeleteThe book Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was written around a collection of odd, old photos: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9460487-miss-peregrine-s-home-for-peculiar-children
Those were fantastic photos. Although, the book fell a little flat for me.
