Yes, the time has rolled around again for the A-Z Challenge. I wish I was the sort of person that could assure you that I have the whole thing planned out, that you'll be entertained with a month full of witty posts that all relate to one another in a perfectly cohesive way. But we all know that's not how I work. In reality, you can look forward to a month of mishmash, days where I flit from topic to topic like the true artistic (meaning easily distracted) person that I am.
Today, for instance, I've got art on the brain. I'm getting ready for Art and Soup, a fantastic art show and fund raiser coming up this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, which supports Community Nursing Services.
Here's a little taste of some of the new pieces I'll be bringing with me.
Beautiful work, Kate!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're doing the challenge. "Art" was my word for the day, too. Great minds think alike. ;)
Happy blogging!
I'm doing it too!! What am I thinking? Anyway...I love your art and I look forward to reading your posts all month. (I will be thinking of mine each morning about 10 seconds before I write them :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is too weird! I was on your blog at the exact same time that you were on mine :) Can't wait to read more of your posts!!!
DeleteI don't have it planned out either, just going with what inspires me that day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces. No plan here for the Challenge, either. Will have fun anyway. :) This is a great start.

I like the pieces! I planned my titles out ahead of time and then I'll write all of my posts for the week on Sundays. Organized, but not insane :D

Samantha, that is a BRILLIANT idea! I wish I was that organized.
DeleteThat art is really cool. I like it!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, thanks for visiting my blog earlier. Mishmash sounds good to me, I think it's good to do a good mix of everything to keep everyone entertained. And I agree, judging by your bio we do sound a lot alike. I'm also a procrastinator and daydreamer but I kind of pride myself on it-who wants to be organised anyway? What a lovely idea for a fundraiser-I love your art and it's for such a great cause too. The top piece is my favourite-beautiful colours!
ReplyDeleteKate, these are just lovely and a style I really like. Just wanted to say 'hi' in the a-z and wish you the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I've planned out my posts for the month... but they don't all relate to one another or follow a "theme" per se...
ReplyDeleteI picked words that would correspond with my writing, I didn't do any pre - writing as such deciding to fly by the seat of my pants. I like your post and your pics are lovely
