I is for Illustration

I've been working on some illustrations for a middle grade novel that I just finished writing a few months ago and thought that the letter "I" would be a perfect time to share some of them with you.

 I'm so endeared with these characters, so it's a treat to be able to bring them to life, not just with words, but with pictures too.

    The mouse with such a happy expression, hugging the can of Spam is really fun. Great job with all of them!

    Love these. The last one when the rat (I think) is snuggling the SPAM. He looks so happy. I've always been impressed with authors that can illustrate. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them-lol.

    Those pics are beautiful! I'm an artist too but I am not all that good at animals. I might have to pay you to draw a pic of my mouse detective ;)

    The facial expressions are so ... expressive :)

    You have such a gift!
    I always say that lots of people can learn to sing reasonably well, but when it comes to drawing/sketching, it's a different story!
