What spirit does your Body house Now that your ghost Follows me, Treading lightly at my heels, Day and night? Part of you keeps me Company, poised on the Side of my bed, Waiting High above the city, While the other part Forgets Again and again.
What a fitting image to go with the theme of your post. I could interpret your poem to be about ghosts or people in our lives who have ghost-like qualities.
I have no creativity when it comes to poetry. I leave that to my daughter. However, she is 17 and most of it is about the rain in her soul.
