My Top Ten Favorite YA Books of 2011

Okay, so I know that the year isn't over yet and I could probably still fit in anther few books before 2012 rolls around, but I thought I'd post a list of some of the best YA books I've read this year.

I always love finding lists of other people's favorite books, especially if I see that they share my same tastes. And we all know how much I love me a good, tasty list.

I must preface my list by saying that although many of the books I read this year were also published in 2011, the books from my list are compiled from books that I read this year, regardless of the year they were published. Man, there were a LOT of good ones, but here are my top ten (in no particular order).




















So many amazing books to choose from. I hope you love some of these as much as I did. And if you read something great that I just HAVE to read. Please let me know. I'll add it to my list of what I must read next year (or if I can sneak it in, maybe this one).

    Paper Towns is still one of my favorite books. And I've been recommended a lot of the books on that list, so I should probably go check them out, haha.

    I wish I had something to recommend. I just don't read enough. ;_;

    Hi, Kate, I just followed you over from Twitter where I've "followed" you and you, me. And, just to stretch that further...I've "followed" you here! :P
    When you asked that question about YA novels of 2011, it stumped me. I read so many books, I frankly had a brain freeze about which ones I did love best. Then, I started thinking and came up with a couple.
    I think John Green is simply epic. I can't believe he writes such funny and profound novels. So, Paper Towns is on my list. Another that I loved is Inzanesville. Just loved that book! There are others, but those two stand out to me. Everyone talked about Before I Fall so much, but I really disliked it. And, I have been dying to read Beauty Queens, which I just bought in hardback, as well as Shine. I thought Divergent was very good, as well; and so was Tankborn.
    Anyway, come by and see me sometime if you get a chance. I'm trying to keep up a couple of blogs...not feeling 100% so it's difficult, but I'd love to have you take a look!
